LONG RANGE PLANNING COMMITTEE

The Grand Lodge committee on Long Range Planning is a Standing committee of the Grand Lodge of Canada in the Province of Ontario and receives its mandate from Section # 136 (i) of our Constitution.

Simply stated the Committee, identifies, studies, assesses any matter that may affect the future of Freemasonry in our Jurisdiction. It is also responsible for producing a five-year plan and to make recommendations to Grand Lodge annually for the long-term benefit of the craft.

GENERAL OVERVIEW

VISION: To be the foremost Fraternal Organization!

MISSION: To Encourage a Way of Life, promote Fellowship, and practice Universal Benevolence, and one’s Faith for the Cause of Good!

1 Fraternal Environment: Uphold an Environment where Freemasonry can flourish. "Freemasons care for each other, enjoy being with each other and make a difference."
2 Lodge Resources: Develop and maintain a strong and active membership base.
3 Communication & Public Awareness: Maintain effective communications between Grand Lodge, Districts, Lodges, Members, Concordant bodies and the Public.
4 Operational Effectiveness: Monitor existing policies, procedures and organizational structure for currency and relevancy.

The 'WINS' chart is the tracking component of the Grand Lodge Strategic plan. It lists the major objectives of each committee of Grand Lodge and it is available upon request from the Long Range Planning Chairman
