Membership Resources Committee |
Brother to Brother. A continuing program providing an ongoing commitment
of assistance to our membership, whether it be to retain the interest of
our newest member, revitalize the interest of older members, or renew
associations with others. A comprehensive plan and a well-prepared
Membership resources toolkit which helps every lodge in addressing the
varied needs of our membership. The reported successes of this programme
provide ample justification for its continued use. Officer Progression. The newest link. Directed to the assistance of each lodge in the training of every progressive officer – towards the ultimate or “highest honor a lodge can bestow on any of its members”, that of becoming Worshipful Master. This programme will enable a planned and prepared journey to the East, and the high responsibilities of that office. DDGM Orientation. In order to
better enable our Thus, the Membership Resources Committee, taking five separate links, forges a chain of Masonic progression, and welcomes the opportunity for all brethren to join in the strengthening of our mutual goals, and thereby “ be happy ourselves, and communicate happiness to others”. |
| An important
facet of the recent restructuring of certain Grand Lodge Committees, was
the alignment of a number of membership directed programmes under the
umbrella of the Membership Resources Committee. This has now created a
TEAM of Masons forming a link of programmes to better enable us to
safeguard the basic strength of our order, MEMBERSHIP. Your Grand Lodge
offers a variety of programmes aimed at all aspects of the Craft; aiding a
man in becoming a Mason, strengthening and informing our membership, even
to becoming the representative of the Grand Master. These programmes can best be summarized as follows. Friend to Friend. Information, video and audio recordings, and procedures – enabling us to go out into our communities with a planned presentation to better inform the community in which we live, and to deliver to the non mason, a knowledge and understanding of our fraternity. Thus forging the first link in our mandate – to take a good man, and make him better – not better than others, but better within himself. Mentors. The next link. A long standing and successful programme that assists the new member, and supports his sponsor. When utilized, a well thought out plan of information, which will assist our new members in their welcoming, preparation, and the building of a strong, solid foundation. |
