The Traveller is back
after a one-year absence.
Will Rogers ( “Brother” Will Rogers, that is ) used to say, “All I
know is what I read in the papers”. Like Will, I pick up my best
stories from outside sources too. The intriguing tales are usually
told over tea after lodge. when the fellowship is too warm to call
off. The interesting thing is that the brethren don’t know what
great stories they have, until they start reminiscing. That’s how
I found out about the entered apprentice in Red Lake who came back
with a bulldozer after he had been initiated and knocked down the
lodge: or the miller the invading forces tried to hang three times
in Waterford but didn’t success because he was a Mason.
Here is my first installment for a new season of the Traveller. -- 30 --
